1st Annual MDRF FoF Photo Contest
Congratulations to Pat Gavin for taking the winning photo, and thanks to Renaissance Magazine for sposoring the contest. You can see all of the finalists and the winning photo here.
The MDRF Friends of Faire group is sponsoring a Photo Contest.
Anyone can submit two of their own photos for each weekend of faire. There will be one winner per week. At the end of the season the nine weekly winners will be judged by the group. The winner of the final judging will get bragging rights, as well as a 1 year subscription to Renaissance Magazine.
So get those cameras out and let everyone else see the Maryland Renaissance Festival through your eyes.
Contest Entries and Winners
Contest Rules
- All photos must be the property of the person submitting them.
- All submissions must be of the MDRF 2006 season from the appropriate judging week. All submissions must be untouched or edited except for cropping and conversion from one media to another.
- All submissions must be sent electronically via email to mdrffriendsoffaire@gmail.com with the subject "Photo Contest - Week #".
- All submissions must be received by the Wednesday, at midnight, of the following week.
- All submissions must include Photographer's Name, Photographer's e-mail, Date Taken, A Caption if desired.
- Weekly submissions will be judged by the five moderators of the MDRF FoF, final judging will be done by a poll of the registered members of the MDRF FoF.
- All submissions will be posted to the MDRF FoF website and by submitting any photos the Photographer grants the MDRF FoF permission to use them. Photos remain the sole property of the Photographer and may not be copied or reproduced anywhere else without permission from the Photographer.
